Initially formed as a side project by former Rotting members Korey Arnold and Mike Belfry; Burning Caskets was never meant to be taken seriously. The guys recorded themselves jamming in Mike's living room with a drum machine and loaded the results to MySpace.
After the guys got praise and feedback; begging for a copy of their CD, they decided to kick things up a notch and recruited bassist Deni Guenard (who knew the guys from jamming with Rotting) and transformed their side project into a full-fledged band and begun playing shows.
Shortly thereafter, they decided to hit the studio and give their MySpace jam-sessions a makeover.
After a few lineup changes, the band settled on the current lineup of Braedon Sharpe and Mitch Di Venanzo on guitars, Deni Guenard on bass, Dan Harrison on drums and Korey Arnold on Vocals.
The first Burning Caskets album, To Burn A False Prophet, is now available. |
